About This Print
A unique, one-of-a-kind collagraph print — there is only one in existence. The surface carries layered marks built up through the collagraph process. Earth pigments, combined with printing ink, lend warmth and depth, connecting the work to the natural world.
Inspiration
Much of my recent work explores the fleeting moments when light filters through trees — what the Japanese call komorebi.
There's something quietly significant in these moments; the way the quality of sparkling light under a tree canopy can stop you. Working between printmaking and earth pigment lets me move between the precise and the accidental, finding in that space something close to how these moments feel.
