About This Print
A unique 1/1 collagraph print inspired by woodland walks — the reach of branches, the half-light between them. Earth pigments and printing ink are worked into the plate and pulled through the press, leaving marks that are at once deliberate and unpredictable.
 
Inspiration
I keep returning to trees, not simply for their beauty exactly, but for their structure. The way trunks anchor themselves, the way branches divide and keep dividing. Standing in among them you lose the edge of things — sky, ground, direction.
This print holds some of that feeling. The collagraph process suits it: nothing is completely clean, nothing entirely certain.
