This beautiful 'Rejoined Reborn' print is a handprinted collagraph created with beautiful  textures and sustainable inks. The colours represent the origins of the raku fired clay, from which the bowl has been raised, as well as the glazes chosen by the potter. The work is inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with lacquer and powdered gold. It celebrates the beauty of imperfection by emphasizing fractures instead of hiding them. 
 
The gold here is hand applied in 24ct gold leaf
