I'm really pleased to be part of Print Cromer 2026, as it's become one of the highlights of the summer print calendar. Two prints from my Above the Fields series will be on show at Artspace on the Prom, West Promenade, Cromer, from 20 June through to 10 July, open daily 11am–4pm. One piece I submitted didn't make the final selection, which is just how these things go, but I rather love it, and if you'd like the chance to own it, it's available to buy on my website.

Chine collé is an intaglio printmaking technique in which a thin, often delicate paper is bonded to the printing paper at the same time that its printed. The plate, whether etched metal, collagraph, or otherwise textured, transfers its image simultaneously into both layers. In the above images, pre printed tissue was adhered to the red chalk coloured textural collagraph, printed in one pass on the etching press.

, Bluebells & Stitchwort bluebells & hares running wild April keeps you guessing, and this year more than most. The sky has been doing extraordinary things — long stretches of a washed, particular blue that makes the fields and hedges beneath it look almost theatrical in their greenness, and then without much warning a charcoal cloud-mass, noisily rolling in and turning everything underneath it an unnerving lilac, long before the heavy rain even arrives. It shakes the cherry blossom however...
