This beautiful 'Finding Peace' print is an original collagraph print.
 
It was created with pressed botanicals, a climbing hydrangea, I grew outside of my studio and sustainable inks. The colours represent those gorgeous colours where late evening light catches leaves in Autumn. It also links to kintsugi, celebrating the mend.
 
It has 24ct gold leaf highlights

How Its Made
I take time to create, by hand, the collagraph, using a range of tools and materials. The plant itself is pressed (sometimes for weeks) before committing to print. I ink up the collagraph plate, then run it through my etching press, hand cranking it onto pre dampened paper. 
 
Each print is individually hand signed and numbered.
