The bowl print with kintsugi was the big hit I thought it would be. I chose them partly because the bowls were a nod to her travels in Japan but that aside its is so beautiful and looks totally fabulous in her living room. She almost didn't the print because I love it so much - Love the quality of the paper too and so good to hear it is created with sustainability in mind. When I saw the beautiful print, I instantly thought it represents me, G and my husband. So, I bought it in memory of the little family we were- can’t wait to find a frame and hang it up.
Su & Andy are such welcoming hosts when my friends and I visited their house & studio. It was definitely worth the trip from Coventry. Su explained all about her work, what inspires her and in particular her ethical approach to using sustainable materials wherever possible in all her artwork. Su talked through the various processes she uses to create her fabulous work and the tour of her studio was such a pleasure to see. A tranquil, calming, inspirational place to work, which is demonstrated in all her work.
Su’s work is so unique and truly beautiful, and her prints and linen art brought me such joy reminding me of the beauty that nature brings. I made several purchases, some for presents but l’m not sure I can part with them now!
