'Honouring Fragments' is a handprinted collagraph piece created with beautiful textures and sustainable inks. The colours represent the origins of the raku fired clay, from which the bowl has been raised, as well as the glazes chosen by the potter.
Inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese tradition of mending broken pottery, this artwork embraces imperfection and features botanical elements - ferns and wild grasses grown in my own paddock. Each line and texture tells a story of resilience, turning fractures into a beautiful narrative of renewal.
